What is a safe and secure “digital implant” that reduces the burden on patients ?
Advances in digital technology are making our daily lives more and more convenient, and digital technology has also been developing in dentistry recently, resulting in remarkable improvements in the speed, accuracy, and safety of treatment.
“Digital Implant” is a system that simulates implantation on a 3D CT scan, creates a surgical device called a surgical guide using CAD/CAM, and then implants the implant in the exact same position as the simulation .
This method dramatically increases the accuracy and safety of implant treatment, significantly shortens surgery time, and reduces the burden on patients .
Also, if the bone is strong, there is no need to cut the gums, and it is possible to attach temporary teeth on the same day the implant is inserted .
In order to make implant treatment as easy and comfortable as possible, we use a digital implant system for all implant treatments.
Digital implants provide safety and peace of mind to all patients.
Digital technology has been developing rapidly in recent years, but until recently, the position and direction of implants were determined by the surgeon’s experience and intuition, and surgery was often performed freehand. There may still be some dentists who perform implants freehand without using a surgical guide.
Drawing a straight line freehand is surprisingly difficult. However, with a ruler, it is a very simple task, and anyone can draw the same straight, beautiful line.
The surgical guide used in digital implantology plays the same role as this ruler.
By using the surgical guide and drilling in the prescribed order, anyone can place the implant in the exact position, regardless of their years of experience.
The technology that allows implants to be placed in the planned position dramatically increases the safety and accuracy of surgery.
