At our clinic, we offer our Economy Course for those who wish to receive implant treatment at a reasonable price. In addition, we also offer our Standard (back teeth) and Premium (front teeth) courses for those who desire more durable materials and higher aesthetic appeal.
When it comes to front tooth implants in particular, compromising on the aesthetic of the tooth is often out of the question. Therefore, we recommend our Premium Course, which provides artificial crowns for your implant that are nearly indistinguishable from your natural teeth.
While it is possible to request a surgical template from the manufacturer, we at Smile Plan prefer to rely on our digital dentistry experts using our in-house production facility to produce our patients’ surgical templates.
The shape and type of the surgical template varies depending on the implant manufacturer. At our clinic, we rely mainly on the three manufacturers below to produce our implants.

First developed in Sweden in 1985, Astra Tech is one of the world’s most reliable implants. The design has seen many refinements since its initial inception, but the core design concept remains the same.
With a tightly tapered internal integration system, the use of micro-thread structures to prevent bone absorption, and surface properties that allow for quicker bonding to the bone, Astra Tech is a truly excellent implant that you can rely on.
Astra Tech Implant surgeries make use of CEREC Guide surgical templates.
We use the Smile Plan Group’s dental laboratories’ milling machines to carve these templates from transparent acrylic disks. Due to its high precision, this template has become the most used template among our clinics.
As one of the world’s top four implant makers along with Dentsply Sirona, Nobel Biocare produces implants that boast high levels of reliability.
Originally, Professor Per-Ingvar Brånemark discovered the methods that would lead to dental implants. With his help, Nobel Biocare was able to further develop implant technology and become the first company to successfully distribute this technology to the world. The diverse lineup of products manufactured by Nobel Biocare is enough to cover any treatment case.
Their “All-on-4” implant system is especially noteworthy for its suitability to even the most exceptional of cases.
X-Guide is Nobel Biocare’s advanced surgical guide system, so innovative that it doesn’t require the use of surgical templates.
Using two overhead cameras, this navigational system displays the location of the drill and the placement of your implant in real time over your CT scans, providing guidance to the proper placement for your implant.
This is a state-of-the-art guide system that doesn’t require the production of a surgical template and, as such, is still quite rare in Japan.
Dio Implant boasts the second largest market share among implant makers in Korea, due in no small part to their superior innovations across the field of digital medicine. Thanks to the highly precise surgical templates they produce, we’re able to enter the operation room with confidence and peace of mind.
Until recently, surgical templates for DIO implants were produced for our clinics by sending the data directly to the manufacturer and waiting for them to finish production. However, as of last year, our clinics have introduced DIO Corporations 3D printers, allowing us to produce DIO Navi Guide surgical templates within our own clinics.
We’ve used DIO Implants for many cases at our clinics, and as such, this is an implant system we recommend whole-heartedly.
